Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British music producer and a vocalist. Harry Styles was one of the founding members of One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England 1 February 1994, he is the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, where alongside three other students, he formed the group he was a part of, White Eskimo. They won the Battle of Bands in 2009 due to their impressive performance. He has always been attracted to music, despite his interest he was also looking at becoming a lawyer as well as a an physiotherapist. He worked for a time at a small-scale bakery in the city he lived in for the purpose of assisting economically at home. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010 and performed Is not She Lovely, one of the Stevie Wonder song. He was selected. His group was forced to break up due to the fact that they were selected. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury member of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles become part of the group One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. The creation of the group took place in the year 2010 when the five youngsters were sponsored by Simon Cowell. The group sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Be Sucky without You as well as Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart at the time of the competition. This helped them to become one of the top contenders. The band was in the third position after Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle which won. Harry Styles' group didn't place, however Cowell still paid 2 million dollars to One Direction for them to conclude a partnership with Syco.
