Kari Sam Wuhrer, born April 28, 1968 is an American actor and singer. She began her professional career as a teenager. She is known for her roles as Maggie Beckett in the television show Sliders and as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), a payroll accountant, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, an officer in the police force and a car salesman. She is the youngest of three children. In her teens She performed in nightclubs when she escaped from her home. The actress studied acting since the age of 13 at the Wooster School, then studied the art of drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts along with renowned instructor Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer is an American model, actress, and singer.
